Events and gatherings are a crucial part of a healthy ministry. From connecting new people, providing fellowship opportunities, leading people deeper into their faith, creating memories, and celebrating, church events serve many important purposes.
Prayer Meeting
Tuesdays at 6PM

This event provides consistent opportunities to corporately cry out to God in prayer. The essence of our church community Tuesday Prayer Meeting offers a time to connect spiritually, pray for our community and elected officials, and thank God for His daily and weekly provisions.

Youth Ministry
The Youth are a big part of the church. They are not the future of Parting Waters - they are the present. The youth group is active and alive and growing and we are excited to see them develop in Christ.
Red Sea Kids
Our Children's Ministry provides a loving environment in which children actively participate in worship, learning, and fellowship activities. K- 5th Grade will have their own time to hear bible stories in a way that will help develop their spiritual growth with age- appropriate curriculum while their parents listen to Pastor Josiah during Sunday Morning Service.

Volunteer Support
Church Cleaning
Volunteers take on many tasks in the church. Facility volunteers help ensure Parting Waters church building and grounds are well-maintained, clean, safe, and welcoming.
The most important requirement to join a volunteer group is that you have a heart willing to serve others.
Worship
All worship team recruitment starts with prayer. In Matthew 16:18 Jesus said, “I will build my church”. Jesus does the building, but calls us to do the labor. He’s the foreman, we're the workers. Whereas God already knows what we need even before we ask it, prayer humbles our hearts, declares our dependence on God and reminds us where our help comes from less we try to build a ministry in our own strength.
